Lakers led to victory by Kobe

The College Basketball 2008 Poll standings are out and it is a big climb to the top. These polls are based on well your team plays as opposed to how games they won. In the number one spot is the Clemson Tigers. They are followed by the Kansas Jayhawks and North Carolina Duke Blue Devils in the second and third spots. After these top three, the next ones down the list include the UNC Tarheels, UCLA Bruins, and Georgetown. Hopefully, the one on top will stay there or the others below can knock Clemson out of the top spot.

The Phoenix Suns have had a great season. They are the first team of the Western Conference to win at least thirty of their games. Just last week, they were up against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Amare Stoudemire did the team proud. After being out for six games after an emergency appendectomy, he led the team to victory against the Timberwolves by scoring ten points in twenty seven minutes.

After what appeared to be a cruel twist of fate for the Celtics, they have finally picked up the pieces and gained some focus into the game. Ticket sales have been over the top and people are vying to see a game. They have come back full force with twenty nine wins for the current season. This has to be the best record in the league so far.
