Good start for Murray with Indiana Pacers

Ronald Murray, who played his debut with Indiana Pacers, showed some sparkle of his talent. Not long after the start of the game,

Murray was able to get the ball from Royal Ivey with an astonishing move and startled his defender by a mind blowing dribble. The presence of

Murray
is expected to create a significant impact on the overall performance of the team. Jim O’Brien, the coach of Pacers wants to experiment with the abilities of

Murray
whenever possible. According to the Coach,

Murray
fullfilled the need of an experienced scoring person in the back court of the team.

Murray is not very good at scoring 3-point shooters but has a scoring average of 9.2 in 309 NBA games.

Murray
has the ability to crack down any defense and is very experienced in creating scoring opportunities to the team members. Jim O’ Brien feels that, he should get more close with Ronald “flip”

Murray
in order to understand how he will play in different situations.

Murray
made four points and one assist to his credit in eight minutes play. The addition of

Murray
into the team has reduced burden on players like Diener, who acts as the fill-in starter and Daniels, who wants to return to the wing rotation.

Hornets end their three game losing streak

The New Orleans Hornet defeated the Phoenix Suns by 120 to 103 on Wednesday night and put their three game losing streak to an end. Chris Paul was the star performer for the Hornets as he got 25 points in the match with 15 assists and 3 steals. Paul said that he was happy to see his side winning the game and hoped that his team will play with the same mentality in all the upcoming matches. Ironically, this is the second time that the Hornets have beaten the Phoenix Suns after slumping to a three game defeat this season. The Hornets forward David West, who scored 27 points, felt that the Sun guards were not able to keep up to the speed of the Hornet’s guards.

The Phoenix Suns are always in the receiving end when they play against the Hornets and the New Orleans Hornet had a shot percentage of 53% that enabled them to end their three match losing streak. Phoenix Suns are in a dire situation as well as they have lost three of their last five games since trading Shawn Marion for Shaquille O’Neal. The newly acquired player, Bonzi Wells could not play for the Hornet’s as he was nursing a bruised Achilles’ tendon.
